Our professional chimney technicians can conduct a Free Virtual Chimney Assessment.  A virtual assessment IS NOT a replacement for an on-site chimney inspection from one of our professional chimney technicians nor is it a safety assessment.  However, a virtual chimney assessment can provide you with some basic guidance concerning the condition of your chimney and fireplace.  

Get a Free Virtual Chimney Assessment in 3 Easy Steps

Step 1 – Outside Photos

Photo 1 – Exterior of the entire chimney
Make sure that the photo includes the entire chimney from top to bottom. 

Photo 2 – Close up of the chimney exterior
Take a close up photo of the bricks and any areas of concern.

Step 2 – Inside photos

Photo 1 – Fireplace and hearth
Make sure that the photo includes the entire fireplace, mantle and hearth area.

Photo 2 –   Interior chimney walls/firebox
Take a picture of the walls inside the fireplace (firebox).

Photo 3 – Inside chimney, up the flue
Stick your camera faced up inside the firebox and take a picture up the chimney flue.  Omit this picture if you are unable to take it.

Step 3 – Submit the online form

Complete the chimney assessment form   A chimney expert will review the pictures and give you the best insight that can be provided based on the submitted photos. They will make you aware of any potential problems and advise you on the best solutions.  Be sure to attach the pictures.
Feel free to take extra pictures.

If your home has not had a professional chimney inspection within the past few years or your home has experienced damage that may have affected the chimney, then it is best to forgo the virtual inspection can call to schedule an in-person professional chimney inspection.
